I'm on Flickr!

I'm currently uploading some of my art photographs to Flickr. Right now I only have a few photos on there but I'll be adding more over the next few days. As I type this I'm making a photo badge, so hopefully it's showing up on the side of the blog here. If you see something you like, let me know! 8x10 framed and matted art prints sell for $25.

Liam's 5 month portraits

Yup, I stuck my baby in a teacup. And I got pretty cute results, right? If you're reading this, and you'd like to see your baby in this teacup, contact me to schedule an appointment!

Self portrait, part two

Allright...so yesterday I planned on taking the baby's 5 month portraits, and I figured that it couldn't hurt to actually put on some makeup, fix my hair a little, and jump in front of the camera. So I did just that. When I get my website redesigned, which should happen in a month or two, I'll add an "about me" page and this is most likely the pic I'll put up there.

Self portrait!

Okay, so this isn't much of a self portrait, but I thought it warranted a place on the blog. Hubby loves car shows, and while I appreciate a nice looking antique car and even have a '58 Chevy Bel Aire of my own (not running, unfortunately), I get bored at car shows. So last time we went to one I took my camera along to have some fun of my own. While taking pictures of one of the pretty shiny highly polished cars I noticed my own reflection and snapped a pic of it. I promise I'll try to get a self portrait soon. I need one for the website anyway.

Tamisa's baby bump!

Baby Hill is due in just a couple of weeks. I had the pleasure of photographing mommy's tummy while we await his arrival. Here are a few of the pics. Can't wait to do his newborn portraits!

Julie & Kenton e-session

This is the most adorable couple. After having to reschedule once due to rain and then move the location, we had a great time running around Utica Square taking their engagement pictures. They were up for any poses that I suggested, and they were just so dang comfortable in front of the camera! These pictures turned out so perfect that it was hard for me to narrow down to just a few to put on the blog. I can't wait for their wedding in December!

Fireworks!

This year we decided to skip the crowds and traffic and just had our own little cookout and fireworks show with hubby's family. While the guys handled the pyrotechnics, I got in a little photography practice. I'd never tried photographing fireworks before. I had fun doing it and got some pretty pictures in the process.

This one's my fave, it looks like a pretty galaxy.

Pretty proud of these two

I'd like to call this piece "Six hyperactive boys with sparklers"

Hubby's little bro Brian tried writing his name with his sparkler. He got as far as his first name and "Hu" but got a little overzealous in his writing and jabbed the sparkler into his neck. That was the end of sparkler picture fun time.

Kathleen and Osric

I've been one busy girl this week. On top of photo shoots, we're in the middle of remodeling our home (while living in it - boo remodeling a house you're living in...but in a few months I'll have a new office space upstairs - yay!) The baby is teething too, so I'm doing most of my editing with a fussy baby on my knee, still, it's all going great! I've got lots of pictures I'll be sharing over the next few days. I'm getting the album for Kathleen and Osric's wedding together so I thought I might as well share a few more pics from it while I'm at it. I said it in my earlier post, but they were such a fun couple!

Let's trash your prom dress!

Calling all high school girls!! What did you do with your prom dress? Is it hanging in the back of your closet? Will you ever wear it again? Pull that dress back out and call me for a fun session! We'll have a "Trash the Dress" session. These are usually popular with wedding dresses, but why let the brides have all the fun? This can be a really fun, creative shoot. We can run around in pastures, play in water, stand on train tracks, whatever we can imagine! Just a $30 session fee gets you a one location trash the prom dress mini session and a cool little photobook from the session, plus receive a discount on your senior portraits if you book an appointment with me for those as well. Here's an example from a recent trash the wedding dress session.
